The foods found on this list represent the best culinary treats I’ve ever tasted in my life. Many are on this list because they were homemade by me or others (particularly my mother). I have not eaten red meat since the early 1980s, and this list reflects that. Of course, many of these meals are greatly enhanced with a glass of a big, hearty Italian red wine. So many yummy foods to sample or cook, and so little time!
These foods were selected based on:
Their ability to provide an energizing, uplifting feeling.
Unique, interesting, memorable taste.
- Cedar-smoked salmon
- Shrimp, lobster, crab, oysters, scallops in ANYTHING
- Homemade thick-crust Pizza Putenesca
- Pad Thai, coconut, or squash curry
- Butternut squash soup
- Homemade pastas with pesto
- Seafood jambalaya
- Cuban black beans and rice
- Sea bass
- Pumpkin-stuffed shells
- Quinoa pilaf
- Homemade raviolis
- Homemade lasagna
- Tempeh Teriyaki
- Hot, spicy chili
- Wild rice with most anything

such suggestions. The lists are not ordered from higher to lower quality. Each
list is a work in progress.
